Indian Pass is a waterfront community tucked away on the south coast of Gulf County, Florida, just 8 miles south of Port St. Joe. It promotes itself as an uncrowded haven for sports fishermen and water enthusiasts and for dining featuring locally caught oysters.

Indian Pass is commonly thought of as one of the last places to truly experience “Old Florida” living. A ferry provides access to a wildlife sanctuary on St Vincent Island located just on the other side of the Pass. The beaches of Indian Pass, with their towering sand dunes, are some of the most secluded beaches you will find anywhere in Florida. A visit to Indian Pass will give you a truly coastal vacation to remember.

Indian Pass Raw Bar – a Legendary Local Landmark

A trip to Indian Pass would not be complete without a stop at the famous Indian Pass Raw Bar. Here you will find delicious fresh oysters harvested just down the road along with a variety of other seafood favorites.

People are so trusting in this area that you serve your own draft beer and tell them how many to charge you for at the end of your mouth-watering meal. This is the type of life style that those that live in Indian Pass enjoy as everyday life.

Grouper, Tarpon, Redfish, Triple Tail – you name it!

Indian Pass gives the fishing enthusiast excellent opportunities for many species. It is thought of as having some of the best triple tail and tarpon fishing around.

Anglers in the bay can also catch plenty of trout, redfish, flounder, and other inshore species. You will often see locals using a cast net and catching shrimp just off the beach certain times of year.

Offshore anglers use “The Pass” as a shortcut to some great offshore fishing with incredible grouper and snapper fishing on the natural “live bottom” areas found offshore.
